Bondi Pavilion is a special heritage example of our beachside culture from the 1920s - St John’s Church was established in the bohemian quarter of Kings Cross in 1849 - City Tattersalls is a heritage listed inner city club venue established in 1895 – Copacobana is an atmospheric latin cafe in Bondi Juntion – Sydney Boys High School Hall is an elegant venue at a prominent public school opened in 1928, the auditorium at Marrickville Hardcourt Tennis Club was one of the first tango venues in Sydney, started as a place for friends to share the passion of tango in 2001 by Orlando Conca.

Immersion Course

The Seymour Centre is a performing arts centre housing four performance venues, cafe, bars, expansive foyers and gallery space. Performances in the theatres range from concerts and theatre presentations, to dance, opera and performances.

Rehearsal Studio used for the Immersion Course is a dance style space with a sprung wooden floor, air-conditioning and wall mirrors.

The Bondi Pavilion was originally constructed in 1928 and was classified by the National Trust in 1977 as a structure of significant historic character. The Pavilion overlooks spectacular Bondi Beach and is home to the famous Bondi Lifeguards and holds a special place in Australian beach culture. Most of Bondi Beach's events centre around the Pavilion, such as the Festival of the Winds, which attracts master kite masters from around the world with spectacular designs including hoop kites, monster box kites and a range of giant sea creature kites.

The Pavilion is now a vibrant arts and entertainment venue as well as a surf and bathing pavilion. It has a theatre and exhibition gallery, an outdoor amphitheatre as well as function rooms, showers & changing rooms, food outlets & a souvenir shop and is within a thriving cafe and retail precinct.
